Join us for a four-day weekend getaway to the exclusive Ocean Reef Club on Key Largo. Ocean Reef is a private, gated, members-only enclave at the northern tip of Key Largo, with its own private: airstrip, marina, championship golf courses and other resort facilities. This is a very special venue and one you cannot access without being a member or the invited guest of a member. We have reserved a block of rooms for you with the Inn, starting at $429 per night, plus taxes and fees.
Thursday – we will set off from Boca Raton at 10:30 AM for a group drive down, to arrive in time for lunch at the Palm Court restaurant, where we can watch the boats go in and out of the harbor. After lunch, we will have a chance to rent golf carts, check in to our rooms and get settled. Our welcome reception will begin at 6:00 PM with a cocktail hour, followed by a banquet dinner in a stunning space, with a view of the ocean and a DJ providing entertainment, jackets encouraged for gentlemen ($295 per person, required). Get a good night’s sleep because we will be up early the next morning.
Friday – will be a boat day, as we set sail at 8:30 AM, with your choice of either a deep-sea fishing excursion on a 38-40 foot sport fish or a relaxing cruise on a catamaran ($295 per person, optional). We will return to dry land in time for lunch at the casual Beach Bar & Grill. The afternoon will be yours to explore: the beach club, the tennis courts, the golf courses, the spa…you can rent paddle boards, jet skis – the possibilities are endless! Our dinner will be at Gianni’s restaurant at 7:00 PM, and we can cap the evening off with cigars on the patio.
Saturday – we will lead off with a group croquet clinic at 9:45 AM ($30 per person, optional) and then hop in the Ferraris at 11:30 AM for a short rally to an off-property waterfront lunch at Alabama Jacks. Upon returning, the afternoon will again be free to indulge in the myriad activities Ocean Reef has to offer. Our dinner will be at the Islander restaurant at 7:00 PM and of course more cigars to follow…
Sunday – we will have breakfast, pack our bags and head for home!
All meals, with the exception of the first night’s welcome reception, will be on individual checks. Throughout the weekend, we will have discounted golf cart rentals available to us at $59 per day + optional insurance (a cart is highly recommended for getting around the community). You will receive a special booking link for your room, after registering with us. Activities can be booked ahead of time with Ocean Reef, once your hotel reservation is confirmed; tee times for golf only become available 48 hours in advance, rental clubs are available.
