Board of Directors
Skip was mostly a British car enthusiast since 2000, owning such luminary antique nameplates including: Austin Healey, Jaguar, Bentley and Rolls-Royce. Skip shifted toward more modern cars in 2020, when he acquired a 2014 Ferrari California for his soon-to-be wife Betsey. Joining the Palm Beach Chapter inspired Skip to add a second Ferrari to his stable – a “Tailor Made” one-of-one 2018 488 Spider with unique wood accents not found in any other example. In 2025, Skip was invited to join our board as Secretary. Skip continues to work in wealth management, serving as Executive Director for Oppenheimer & Co. in both their Delray and Boca Raton offices.
When John Vaglica was a young teenager, his father introduced him to Ferraris, and they attended many Ferrari events in their home state of Ohio. They continued this tradition in South Florida for many years thereafter. Upon his father’s passing in 2002, John wanted to join FCA himself, and National offered him the opportunity to retain his father’s membership number, which he proudly accepted. That chain of membership remains unbroken for over 50 years. John participates in events with his 1973 246 GTS ‘Chairs and Flares’ Dino. He has been co-chairing FCA Palm Beach events since 2020. He is always looking forward to planning the next exciting chapter event!
